Born in White Plains, New York, pianist Mallory Bernstein has performed as a soloist and collaborator across the United States as well as in Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Mexico. Highlights of her career include appearances with the Sonoma Philharmonic, Aurora Symphony, Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, Devil Moon Concert Series, Opera Colorado, the Playground Ensemble, Englewood Arts, Green Box Arts, and Art Song Colorado.


Mallory earned degrees in Piano Performance from Ithaca College, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the University of Denver, and has served on the faculty of the College Audition Advantage summer institute as a collaborative pianist and coach.


She is the founding Executive Director of Education Through Music-Colorado, where she is dedicated to building high-quality, equitable music education programs in under-resourced schools. Mallory lives in Denver with her husband and their three young daughters.


Christine Gaudreau

Christine Gaudreau is in her 16th year as Artistic and Principal Music Director and Conductor for Ovation West Performing Arts, the Evergreen Chorale and Altezza Chamber Choir.


Christine completed degrees in Music History/Voice Performance as well as a Masters in Conducting from SDSU. Additionally, she has studied conducting at the International Bach Festival and at Yale.   She serves as Director of Music and Worship Arts for the highly respected music program at Wellshire Presbyterian Church, where she conducts, among others, the Sanctuary Choir, the professional Wellshire Orchestra, and also curates the concert series Music at Wellshire. A sought after clinician and guest conductor, Christine works regularly for local orchestras, universities, schools and also for the Presbyterian Musician's Association.

Recently: Amahl and the Night Visitors, Copland Old American Songs and Lincoln Portrait ,as well as the second performance of Christopher Tin's Let My Country Awake,; world premiere of William Hill's The Raven's Tears;  Beethoven's 9th with Evergreen Chamber Orchestra; Elaine Hagenberg's Illuminare at Carnegie Hall. Christine also just conducted the world premiere of To Sing of Love by Taylor Scott Davis.


Upcoming:
.Cantata #61, J.S. Bach, two collaborations with M. Roger Holland, among others to perform his new composition Voice of My People;   Schubert's Mass in G; Ramirez' Misa Criolla and Bob Chilcott's A Little Jazz Mass, as well as Wellshire's annual Orchestra Candlelight Services on Christmas Eve. 


Kirsten Carpenter Ortman

Kirsten Carpenter Ortman is the Director of Choirs at the Colorado School of Mines as well as the vocal music instructor at Ralston Valley High School. Additionally, Kirsten serves as the Associate Conductor of the Evergreen Chorale.  Kirsten’s choirs have performed in a variety of venues including Carnegie Hall, The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. In addition to conducting, Mrs. Ortman also frequently performs as soloist for concert, opera and musical theater productions and is a paid soloist at Wellshire Presbyterian Church. Recent roles include Jenny in The Threepenny Opera, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Despina in Cosi fan tutte, and Giannetta in L'elisir D'amore. Kirsten directed Godspell for Ovation West in the spring of 2022.  Kirsten holds a BME in vocal music and MM in conducting from the University in Northern Colorado.


Patrick Lee is a Colorado native, a graduate of CU's jazz department, and a teacher of piano in Evergreen. He is currently into composing and performing live piano scores for his silent film series at Center Stage, and has also released over thirty albums of original music influenced by sampling culture, field recordings, hip-hop, and experimental music. When not doing pull-ups, Lee can be found making kimchi, teaching his daughters to drive, trying to root for Buffs football, and betting on Czech table tennis.
